We may be biased, but we think the best place to eat dinner is right here at our onsite restaurant, Golden Hour–a feast for the eyes, a bacchanal for the soul, and they happen to serve stupid-good food and drink, too.
What makes The Radical Hotel different from other Asheville hotels?
The Radical is a living art installation as much as it is a hotel. Every one of the 70 guest rooms features original murals by local artists. The property is housed in a restored 1920s cereal factory in the River Arts District, and includes three distinct food and beverage concepts from a two-time James Beard nominated chef. It is the only hotel in Asheville's River Arts District with a rooftop bar overlooking the French Broad River.

Is Golden Hour restaurant open to the public?
Yes. Golden Hour is open to both hotel guests and the public. The restaurant features a wood-fire menu by two-time James Beard nominated chef Jacob Sessoms and is Michelin recommended. Reservations are strongly encouraged.
Are you pet-friendly?
Yes! We are happy to allow up to two 70-lb (or less) canine companions in our pet-friendly rooms (pet friendly rooms will be noted as part of the booking process). Pet fees include a $50 per dog, per night rate increase.
Do you allow children?
While The Radical is happy to welcome well-behaved children, occupancy in many of our rooms is limited to two (2) people of any age, including children and infants. Please note our additional per person fees described below.
I'm allergic to dogs, what do I do?
The Radical holds a select number of rooms that are pet-free. Should you require a pet-free room, please call the hotel directly to book.
What is your policy for additional guests?
Our hotel rates are based on an occupancy of up to two (2) total persons. Additional guests may be accommodated in a few of our rooms for an additional charge of $50 per person/per night (children and infants do qualify as guests).

What time is check-in and check-out?
Check-in begins at 4:00 pm. Checkout time is 11:00 am. Departing guests are welcome to linger in our common rooms and on our grounds.
